Ron Misty Kamwendo is the Head, Administration, Finance & Partnerships at the African Institute for Economic Development and Planning. He has 18 years working experience during which he has developed expertise in the following areas: accounting and audit, financial analysis, financial modelling, financial management, grants management, human resources management, procurement, project development and management, project finance, partnerships and resource mobilisation, corporate governance, corporate social sustainability management, facilities management conference management, strategy and strategic management, capacity building, and investment management. Prior to joining ECA he worked as a Head of Finance and Operations (executive) for the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation of the Allan Gray Group in Cape Town. He is a Fellow at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and CPA (Society of Accountants in Malawi - SOCAM). Mr. Kamwendo holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of East London, Royal Docks Business School, and Bachelors of Science Degree specialising in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College.
