Charles Muraya is an Information Management Officer at the Climate Change Section of the Technology, Climate Change & Natural Resource Management Division. His area of expertise includes information and knowledge management. Prior to joining ECA, he worked as an Information Management Officer for the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Tribunal (UNAKRT), the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (UNICTR) and as a Lecturer at Egerton University, Nakuru, Kenya, where he taught computer science. He is a Member of AXELOS Global Best Practice, the International Council on Archives and Canada's Association of Information Technology Professionals (CIPS). His most recent publication address knowledge management as an enabler of the Paris Agreement in Africa. Mr. Muraya holds a M.Sc. in information technology management from the Brandeis University, Massachusetts, United States.
