Created in 2016, IDEP’s “Knowledge Management and ICT” division seeks to make knowledge resources available to African policy makers, researchers, students, and in general anyone interested in African’s development and maintains a special emphasis on knowledge resources generated by the ECA and IDEP.

Knowledge and Library Services

Established in 1963, the IDEP Library has been at the forefront of providing quality information and documentation services to a large and diversified audience of trainees, research and teaching staff, visiting fellows, government officials, university academics, postgraduate students, and the general reading public.

e-Learning

In accordance with its statutes, the African Institute for Economic Development and Planning (IDEP) has as its main objective capacity building and training for government officials, legislators, organized civil society organizations, the media and private sector actors in fifty-four (54) African countries. The training and capacity building activities are based on issues of economic policy formulation, economic management and planning for development.
