The UN knowledge hub on the humanitarian situation in Ethiopia is developed by the United Nations Knowledge Management Task Team as a one-stop-shop for relevant data, information, and other knowledge resources on the humanitarian situation collated from credible sources. The knowledge provides insights to the impact on various sectors, and response strategy from the government, the United Nations, and partners. The objective of the hub is to provide reliable information to the public to facilitate evidence-based policy formulation, and informed decisions making in providing humanitarian assistance to affected persons. The hub is an integral part of the UN Africa Knowledge Management Hub (UN AKMH) which provides a gateway to the regional knowledge of the United Nations Development Systems (UNDS) in Africa facilitating access to information, and acting as a catalyst for the realization of the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations and 2063 of the African Union.
