The ECA Library’s Outreach and Client Engagement (OCE) unit plays a crucial role in connecting people with knowledge. Through targeted outreach efforts, we ensure that ECA’s vast intellectual resources reach the right audiences, empowering decision-makers, researchers, and policymakers with the information they need.

Liaison Services

We actively collaborate with different ECA divisions and subprogrammes to tailor library services to their specific knowledge needs. Whether it’s providing access to specialized databases or curating research materials for a policy briefing, we bridge the gap between information and its users.

Library Visits & Engagements

We organize guided library tours for new ECA staff, visiting researchers, and external delegations to introduce them to our physical and digital resources. These visits often lead to long-term collaborations, ensuring that ECA’s research and policy efforts are well-supported.

Expanding External Partnerships

We explore partnerships with universities, research institutions, and development organizations to strengthen the library’s role in fostering thought leadership across Africa.
