IDEP and APRM forge path for integrated development planning through comprehensive training framework

Midrand, Johannesburg, November 27, 2024 - The African Institute for Economic Development and Planning (IDEP), in collaboration with the African Peer Review Mechanism Continental Secretariat (APRM), officially launched the Workshop to validate the signature training program on the "Fundamentals of Development Planning" at the APRM/NEPAD Headquarters in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Djibouti, 24 novembre 2024 - L’Institut Africain de Développement Économique et de Planification (IDEP), en collaboration avec l’Institut National d’Administration Publique (INAP) et le Ministère de l’Économie et des Finances en charge de l’Industrie, a lancé, ce vendredi 24 novembre à Djibouti, une session de formation en planification stratégique destinée à 38 agents des ministères chargés de la planification et des secteurs clés du gouvernement.

Lomé, 14 octobre 2024 - L’Institut africain de développement économique et de planification (IDEP) a formé au Togo, du 14 au 18 octobre, une vingtaine d’acteurs nationaux sur la méthode d’évaluation de l'économie bleue développée par la Commission économique pour l’Afrique (CEA). Cette formation faisait suite à la demande adressée à l’IDEP par le Gouvernement togolais, à travers le Haut Conseil de la Mer, et était destinée aux professionnels des secteurs publics et paragouvernementaux, aux organisations de la société civile ainsi qu'aux communautés côtières.

The African Institute for Economic Development and Planning of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) welcomed the 2023 cohort of African leaders and practitioners of the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) Centers, in Dakar, Senegal, during a regional face-to-face training workshop. Fifteen leaders and fifteen practitioners, from Cameroon, Union of the Comoros, Djibouti, Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, took part in this regional training workshop from 19 to 21 September 2023.

Malaysian’s INTAN and IDEP train African officials on best practices in planning and managing sustainable development

The African Institute for Economic Development and Planning (IDEP), in partnership with The National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) and the Malaysian technical cooperation programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is organizing an online training on Sustainable Development Planning and Management. It’s the Third Country training Program (TCTP-IDEP) under the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme flagship or widely known as MTCP - IDEP collaboration 2023.
